Founder Hans Bouman has a background of 9 years at Visa Netherlands of which 5 years related to e-commerce. Since 2001 Hans worked as payment consultant for his own company Business to You BV, based in Mijdrecht, The Netherlands.

Between 2002 and 2005 Business to You BV introduced Ogone into the Dutch market and realized market leadership. As many as five banks started using the Ogone platform of which 3 under their own branding. Six new payment methods were connected and realized. With these payment methods Ogone is able to offer a complete payment solution in Holland. 

Since 2005 B2U is main reseller for McAfee SECURE in Europe.
